    Tommy Ramone, drummer for The Ramones and the last surviving member, has lost his fight with cancer. He was 62.

    Love the Ramones. Too bad they never got the albums sales or recognition they deserved until it was too late. Their highest charting album went gold, a greatest hits Ramones Mania. Yet Rolling Stone named them the most important American rock band. At least their legacy lives on with how many decades of music.

    The Ramones were REAL Punk Rock. Not that 1 click away from boy band shit that passes as Punk today. They will all be missed.
