I was desoldering a blown fuse and nonfunctional voltage regulator of a broken pc engine. The fuse was removed successfully, but I managed to rip the traces on the motherboard while removing the voltage regulator

How am I gonna patch-up the traces? So far I noticed that leftmost leg connects with the left leg of the c103 capacitor running a continuity check (as seen in the photo). The middle leg with the left leg of c102.
I can't trace though the right leg.

Also, the blob of solder on the top seems to give continuity on every leg, as the traces there seem to connect with the legs of the voltage regulator.

remove the extra solder with some braid. Then clean the area good with some alcohol. That will give you a better idea of what you are working it. This should be easy to fix. You've got power in, power out and gnd. All the traces will be big and have components running off of them.

you have plenty left to be able to repair that fairly easily. like citrus said, the traces leading to it are huge. anchor the regulator in place with solder on both sides of the pcb and start jumping the legs to whats left of the traces.

The regulator screws down onto the heatsink so put the new regulator in position first before you attempt any soldering. The easiest way then would probably be to connect the legs to the corresponding pads of the components.

So, I cleaned the affected area.Using a magnifying glass, I scraped a bit of the traces . I'll come back to it later in the day when I have more time.
