Does anyone know how I would go about doing this? There's a game I have and need to do it for since there's no download for it on the net. Any help would be appreciated.
Using a BBA: Expensive but fast. Using a SD-Card serial adapter: Kinda Cheap (~20$) but a bit slower. Using a home-made printer port ripper: Costs 50¢ and rips at reasonable speed but is complex to use and require old hardware and Win98. Using a serial coder's cable: Expensive/hard to find, EXTREMELY SLOW. Using a LTD-165H dvd drive and swap tricks: Nice method but the drive is hard to find and some games don't work. If done correctly all those methods -- except for the coder's cable that doesn't support 2352bytes/sector dumping (but that could be change via software) -- allow for proper TOSEC verified dumps. FG
Once you got the hardware it's pretty straight forward, load a software and dump. Guides exists for the bba and the coder's cable. Google is your friend.
Sounds simple enough. Thanks. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. There isn't an active download link for Dreamcast version of the game on the net so I bought it so I could do just that.

Yeah, that. But the stupid Chinese have it behind their website membership which is "invite only" if you didn't notice. Anyhow, my brothers working on the SD-Card serial adapter thing at the moment. He'll get it done sooner or later.
And what there generally to do? To solder six wires not such a problem. To copy a disk on SD card slowly, on HDD much quicker.
