Some people have made tables out of duck hunt carts. I suspect the massive piles of worthless guitar hero / rock band plastic needs a similar use. So the thread discussion is: 1001 uses for worthless rock band and guitar hero stuff.
1 - Pretend to be Pete Townsend or Keith Moon of The Who 2 - Play tennis with the guitars 3 - Use the drum kit to arrange flowers
Hooking up all your guitars to your 360 and playing with a friend who has also plugged in a bunch of controllers in order to boost in Halo 3 for achievements, only to be banned by Bungie for two weeks.
Thats easy all you need to do is take horse tranquilisers and get pissed 5. Practising Dives off the settee
My friend had the idea of creating clear resin bricks with duck hunt carts submerged inside to pave his new driveway. Taking that idea - you could use the music peripherals as housing materials in third world countries.
Well you know Barc0de always thinking of sex, sex, sex. Maybe he is just talking from personal usage of dildos and he just wants to get it out.
the drum stick can be the dildos dildo. Yo dawg, we heard you like dildos so we put a dildo in your dildo so you can dildo while you dildo.
Not the same thing, but kind of similar. We have a load of old cell phones at work (we upgrade our sales rep every 2 years). We tried to sell them but we were offered about 30 bucks for 50 blackberry handsets. So we formulated a genius practical joke. My boss carried one of the old blackberrys around until an ideal opportunity arose then cursed me out and slamed the blackberry to the ground feining a fit of rage. It smashed into many pieces. We thought it was hilarious (you have to realize that IT can be a very dry job :lol. The funniest part was, a contractor happened to see this occur. He was very late on his project deadline, but suddenly the next day all pending parts of the project were compete!
@Taucias that reminds me of my uncle. at work he'd carry around a fake hand. and whenever someone would ask, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" he would just throw it at them.
That is even better than the phone idea. Someone asked me if I was short handed the other day. I looked at my hands and said "No, they are normal sized. We just have someone out sick today". My English humor is not always appreciated.
"shorthand? no, my name really is this short *tips on nameplate*" --- "shorthand? no, my boss does not understand my abbreviations"
In the spirit of taking the original query seriously, I like to embrace the thought that music and rhythm games are supposed to be gateway leisure activities. There's an honest (and demonstrated) potential for players to pick up real instruments and learn how to create music. To that end, I remind you of the SynthAxe: http://www.hollis.co.uk/john/synthaxe.html The original MIDI guitar unit didn't make as big an impact on recording and performance as its creators wanted. Not enough like playing a real guitar, its critics complained. Now that there's a whole generation of young people who are playing controllers which are essentially striped down synthaxes, I see Guitar Hero controllers evolving into something similar. Maybe as official hardware, but more likely as user-created mods. That's where I see (or hope) that all the plastic is going.
