I'm sure most of us remember Rock N' Roll Racing on the SNES and Genesis, but I'm curious what anyone knows about the sequel on the Playstation. All I've ever heard is it was PAL only, and not a very big release so it is hard to find. So what does anyone know about it? Is it really that rare? Or is it like Mortal Kombat II japan only PSX which floats around the internet? Furthermore is the game like an improvement on the original or is it shitty? Edit: Well after looking at GameFaqs, it looks like they just called it Red Asphalt for the US. So nevermind about rarity or anything, but has anyone actually played it?
It was released in US too, but without the Rock n' Roll Racing 2 title. Instead it was called just Red Asphalt. I never played it, but it got 5.0 = Meh, from IGN and 6.9 = Fair, from Gamespot.
It supports the link cable so thats how I found about it. I recall the old Interplay site had some nice info that can be read with archive.org.
Remember that this game was a big let down to me when it came out... Only part of it that kinda amused me back then when I borrowed a copy from a friend of mine who bought it were the retarded car commercials.
