Buddy of mine told me he had these yesterday and sent pics. He doesn't have an nes to test them with, but apparently got them from his dad when he was a kid. I'm going to be going over to test and compare against the released versions some time this week. But wanted to get any thoughts on these two. He was offering to just give them to me, but I'm imagining there's at least a little value on them. The roger clemens I'm not holding out hope for as the eproms were not covered and there's no telling how long they might have been left that way. Be interested in the thoughts of the community.. oh.. and I think this is my first actual post here.. maybe second, I know i've been lurking for a long time.
Cool finds! Just be sure to cover those chips on the baseball game so the data on the cart doesn't get wiped.
Better images of the cartridges. I've been able to perform a dump of Ikari Warriors and it's definitely different. I have not yet been able to get Roger Clemens dumped, I'm afraid it might have been erased with the EPROMS left uncovered for years. http://imgur.com/a/vBttc
They're both retail PCB's with EPROMs attached. So easy enough to "fake". The labels give an air of authenticity. At guess I'd say they'r real and real awesome. I am -VERY- interested in that Roger Clemens. I have a love/love/hate/love/throw my gamepad at the screen relationship with that game. I'd like to take it off your hands if at all possible.
Any way you would mind posting the differences in Ikari Warriors? Images would be great, but even text would be appreciated. Thanks for sharing, by the way. Welcome to the forums!
Those are definitely the real deal. It is a bummer that Roger Clemens may be corrupted. I would make sure that it is not an issue with the contacts before I gave up hope. What have you done to clean them off? What are you using to dump them?
