Is it just me, or drinking a few brewskis while playing an rpg makes it alot more exciting, specially with all the mini battles. FF 13 it's amazing with some pbr!.
I think alcohol is better suited for driving games, with a proper wheel, like SEGA RALLY 2 at the Arcades <3
Don't really find drinking and RPGs to be a good match, but social gaming + booze is often great and dumb fun. Feels good when the extremely competitive elements vanishes. I remember when the Wii hit Europe, I brought my Wii to a colleague's place for a weekend long party where we tried to see if the rumors were true (that Wii remotes would be flying, TVs would be destroyed, people would get hit in the face, etc.). On the night to sunday, all that had gone wrong was that a colleague had accidentally put down one of my Wii remotes on the table in such a way that the wrist strap had moisturized itself in the soy sauce leftovers from something he'd been eating. I was disappointed. Internet/News had led me to believe that the inclusion of alcohol would probably mean the batteries would explode and the entire apartment complex would burn down or something.
Drunk and playing Bad Company 2 or Counter Strike makes it more exciting and my score goes up slightly and then I mouth off to the admin leading into kicking... Oh, and PBR??? Bleh. Crappy beer. Natty Light for me.
Famicom games, especially the mediocre ones, become incredibly exciting when a couple of beers went ahead.
Is that a way of saying that Famicom Multi-carts are the highlight of the party or that they're the very peak of epic loneliness?
I tried to play conker bad fur day the other day, and i couldn't even figure out how to move, mind you we got this weed from a heroin addict, they got good weed.
Any old cart title that requires a bit of skill to play. I love screaming at the tv trying to play a good platformer while tipsy.
Beer has the power to enhance a lot of situations, but keep in mind that only your PERSONAL experience is enhanced, it looks a little bit different from a sober point of view
We were at a b-day party and when most people left (and the close friends stayed) we decided to play some Wii Sports. Tennis is seriously fun for cleaner minds to see a match like Drunk VS Drunk!
