No, the "mod" is awful. It barely even qualifies as a mod...the cases are just swapped around. So many colors, and none of em look right together...I'd say maybe if he bothered to switch in the Black saturn buttons...but no...still...bleh.

 

Lol say it by all means, you may give your opinion on something someone has created. Hell, you could say you think the PS2 looks like an ugly brick if you wanted.

I think that you can't necessarily blame a forum for whatever aspect you don't like. Often it will just be the behaviour of certain peopple on it... and let's face it, you're going to find people you dislike in certain places and you usually just have to put up with it.

Still, a good forum is well moderated, and by that I don't necessarily mean policed tightly, but that the moderators make a good enough job that what they do is seamless and almost invisible to the average user.

 

I've modded my PSX so that I can put in a small 40mm DC 12V fan. But apparetnly I couldn't find the right place to get 12volts from the PSU and still power the PSX so now I have a SCPH 7001 with a big hole in the side as if it blew a capacitor :smt043

Btw, the reason a certain forum is sometimes thought of with disdain by my persona is that a certain discussion brought forth the fact that 99% of participants on "their" side seemed to consist of arrogant Americans (no offense to any people from the US, though I cant find another way to put it) who seemed to base their self-esteem solely on the value of their collection, and use "faggot", "gay" and "virgin ass" in every other sentence. Blah.l
