no it's not fake, it's just very dependent on your local best buy, since it's a bunch of clearance games. Most of these games are older, so individual stores might have sold them off already. Then you have employees on the inside hoarding cheap games to sell on ebay. Another board has a 60 page thread about this, so people are finding these deal at bestbuy. It just depends where you live I guess.
That sell sucked from what I read on most forums. Freaking best buy empolies were loading up carts and hiding it in the back to purchase after their shift.
Well if anyone does find themselves at one with stock, would some kind soul grab me a copy of Chibi Robo on the Cube and Advance Wars on the DS? Will chuck you a few dollars, and cover postage/packaging to the UK.
It didn't matter at my BestBuy, most of the platforms with cheap shit had already been downsized to make room for the new systems.
I heard something similar instead for CompUSA. Seems like they are shutting down well over half of their stores in Georgia.
I don't know about in Georgia, but our local CompUSA is a joke compared to Bestbuy (which I also dislike). Old software and hardware at their original RRP, layabout staff that will only try to help you if you're standing at the laptop section. Pah! I say!
A related story which only involves US is that CompUSA is going to close nearly 70-80% of their stores nationwide. Look out for some insane closeout deals like 100pack DVD+Rs for $10 .
