Surely there must be some RTJ fans here in the Assembler family!?! If you have not heard Run the Jewels tracks and claim to be a hip-hop fan you must live on a different planet than me. Both El-P and Killer Mike have had a significant impact on hip hop culture previous to teaming up for run the jewels. They continue to make banging tracks together and give their albums to fans for free while charging companies like EA and Marvel (we can assume) big dollars for usage rights to their tracks. They even got their own characters in Gears of War 4. Though some consider it "selling out", I see it as 2 experienced artists playing the game we call the music industry while still staying independent!
