I have a jtag xenon around I jtag, currently run fsd2.0 Ok so I ripped the discs with the dvd dump. 1. Can I run the game off the system? 2. How do I use the data to make a new disc to protect the original. The games run, but will occasionally freeze. Think it is because it is not a test /dev system or just the nature of them being early betas? (no I cannot divulge the betas yet)
I use xexmenu to launch the xex files to run the games. Not all beta's, protos, ect work on jtag as it's missing the stuff to run it. You can then copy those files off the HDD, via FTP and then just burn them as a data disc. I've done this a couple of times and it seems to work fine for me. As for the freezing it should be expected for early build games, maybe you can try a very early version of freeboot to see if it has better compatibility. Hawk
here To do this you have two options. 1) Burned CD/DVD using FSD2.iso Use the file browser to copy (using the "X" button) the directory "C0DE9999" to the 360 HDD from a USB flash drive to: Hdd1://Content/0000000000000000/ 2) Transfer Cable Use appropriate software to copy the directory "C0DE9999" to 360 HDD at: Partition3\Content\0000000000000000 Go to Game Library. Run the game demo listed as "FreeStyleDash".
Yup (as long it's tossed at the proper place and directories are named properly. Otherwise will show as "corrupted data")
I thought Jtags could FTP? If you have a USB format it with xbox. Make sure you add it in this folder structure: Content/0000000000000000/C0DE9999 I believe it has something to do with partion 3 if you have a transfer cable + xplorer360 if you are still stuck try this tutorial
Hence I use xextool, it tells if there are libarys are not for retail and sometimes work but crash if are called. aka XBDM.xex is an example.
