*Is listening to Grand Designs* I don't think I've found a song that I don't like from them. They're such an awesome band. One of the best, bar none. Does anyone else here share my appreciation for this awesome trio?
There's no such thing as "too rock!" Now, there is such a thing as a band taking itself too seriously. But yeah, Rush is pretty good. Great songs to drive to.
Yeah, I like them. A friend once took me to a concert and I got a few records/CD's afterwards - though at times, it does get a bit cheesy, imho.
Yeah, unfortunately most things are way "too rock". Everyone pounds Japan for reusing the same formula, yet we've had the same thing only slightly modified for decades now. Seriously... most rock bands are really lame. I like a few, but only handful. Very few of them have realized there are instruments other than the bass, guitar, and drums.
