hi again , i've got a PS1 controller and one of the screws is rusted and i can't get it open. Are there any methods to fixing this problem ?

i was thinking of the drill method like when a screw is stripped but i've never tried that before. I was wondering if i were to try this would i still be able to keep the post or it gets raped ?

    chat soon

Is it stripped? If not, I hope you have a strong 00 size screwdriver.

hi dc , i have a few kits for consoles and my usual bit won't work with this rusted screw. So i started using the the other bits and nope , all it did was leave rust on the other bits which i removed.

what the screw looks like to me is the rust has eaten away most of the + , so there isn't much for a screwdriver to grip on to.

update got it ! , just talking to you gave me an idea. Most of the + is gone only a little is present so i got a jewelers slotted screwdriver and pressed down hard , i then used a pair of pliers to turn the screwdriver.

i heard a click and i was able to unscrew it by hand , awesome

    problem solved
