RVT DVD-R, Any Idea of the price ?

    what is on that? I cant tell from the pic if its a mini disc or a full size? Is it actually a Wii disc or a PC or GC disc. Sorry for the questions just need a little more info. Also can you say how you obtained it?

    It's a Wii development DVD, full size and totally blank, I know someone working in the industry He offer this to me.

    It is just to know if it have some valor.

    and whether the same matsushita drive used to burn the Wii discs. (is the disc layout file the same still?) Please ask :)

    kinda related, what is all the wii dev hardware, and not the old gc stuff converted
    ive seen 2 diff pieces so far, im assuming gbox/gdev equivalent and nr equivalent

    OP if you can get a wii gbox/dev or ddh equivalent im interested

    well since it's the first one ever sold in the greater public, he can asl about anything for it...i'd give him 25-35$ for it tho :p

    GC TOOLS vs Wii TOOLS

    GDEV - NDEV

    NR retail gamecube - NR retail wii

    (so far)

    GBOX offers a real-time debug via RS232. The same can be achieved with an IS-DOL viewer on an NPDP cartridge gamecube. DDH is replaced by GDEV and due to its complex setup its safe to assume that NDEV is the one and only "top level" unit. Alternatives to NDEV can be modified GDEV boxes, but I have no concrete proof on this.

    I assume that the Matsushita 802 or equivelant is still used to write the discs. A different firmware might be used however instead.

    I would like to think that there is a cartridge/HDD version of the test units, but I have not seen any pictures of such an object.
