    Doesn't look like it but I haven't played it lately. Does this disk have any timestamping anywhere that might reveal how old it is vs retail? Maybe dumping it and eyeballing the files?

    I don't have the hardware to dump rvt, and it's dated several months before release.

    you got an RVT-R Reader, depending on how far you want to go; i.e. taking the RVT-R apart, you can dump RVT-R discs.
    There are basically two ways, put the RVT-R drive into a retail unit or hack the RVT-R and dump the game.

    I had the Japanese version of Dead Rising for Wii and I'm pretty sure it never had all of that blood in it.

    Yeah they took it out for the Japanese version, other versions were blood galore.
