Ryse Xbox 360

Hi all,

Looking at the rules regarding current and next gen games. Can I post information about a canceled game on the Xbox 360?

Mhmm. It's been released, and it's for an older console. The idea was scrapped in the end and they just ended up going back to the drawing board for Ryse Son of Rome.

I'm assuming those old kits you got have Ryse builds on them?

 

Hey man,

I have managed to confirm it was a very early build of what would have been Ryse on the 360 from Ruffian Games, it was using some files from Crackdown a game they developed to help further the link.

There where also dev builds of other kinect games, Nike +, Sesame Street and another one that was 26GB in size but I can't get it to launch

Huh from that it seems to just be some sort of Arena fighter? Bit of a shame as I thought they were going to be a bit more ambitious with that judging by the original trailer. Still, at least they had the common sense to know that wouldn't have been as good of a game as Ryse ended up being

Also, I think XBMovie can record video directly from the devkit for you? I've never had it to work but I've heard of a few other success stories.

If at all possible, would you be open to the idea of dumping the 26GB archive? It would let others who may be more experienced tinker around with it and potentially get it running; however I understand it's your build and also a heck of an upload size.

What happens when you boot the xex ?.
Do you get a black screen ,freezes console or boots you back to xshell.

A couple users believe it to be a Halo 4 Development build

 

halo 4 network build give the same error.
Whats the xex date ?

 

Shame its not more finished. Still a good find on a kit.

 

Midnight is the codename for Halo 4 so IDK could be something to do with that.
