I have some really rare dev hardware, but it's pretty much caked in dust and some grime.

I used to have some great PCB cleaning spray, but it's all illegal now with the
    no CFC laws.

Anyone use PCB cleaning spray at work or home that can suggest a brand?

  2. Yep, if you can find 'Wynn's Electrical Contact Cleaner' I'd highly recommend it...

...Don't know if you can get it in the U.S though?

I can get it, if you need it.

Doing some research here as this is a one of a kind item.. And it's about 16 years old.

The issue I have is that it's made partly from bakelite (yes looks like bakelite)

Should be, but i'll double check.

  9. ...Safe on 'everything' in real terms, I can't see the likes of Bakelite being a problem.
