Is the Super Everdrive safe to use without a case? I don't plan on traveling with it so I know it won't have any physical damage, but if I simply use it without a case will it be fine?

Awesome. I still want to buy a case, but I want to use it, since that will take awhile! :D

Be warned tho. Even tho the PCB is well made and there's no danger of piece falling out. There is always the risk of static electricity in your hands. Heck just a few weeks back I had some static from folding some clothes fresh out of the dryer and then went to play SNES. The static zapped through the controller and it stopped working. Thankfully I have a bunch of controllers... Just get a case. Get a sports game and just gut it. You'll be happy you did.

Just be careful with dust flaps, they can cling at components when removing the *Everdrive.
