Hey guys, got a question for you all that hopefully someone can answer. I have a Samsung 605A drive and a Samsung 605B drive. Both have their own issues. Can I take the PCB from the 605B and put it in the 605A with out having issues? Thanks
Unfortunately I can't answer your question, but I'm wondering what type of issues you're facing? The only problems I've had with any Samsung DVD drive is the belt drying/wearing out, which I assume you already know about. They've worked great ever since doing a belt replacement.
One was dropped I think. The other is bricked. I prefer the 605B bc I have a lot of backup games and CFW was released for the 605B and not the A or F. 605B drives are pricey online but you can get the PCB's for much cheaper.
