Apparently, according to http://ultimateconsoledatabase.com/others/sanyo_gam_boy.htm Samsung produced Dreamcasts and Sega hardware in general meant for the Korean market. I searched for it, and I can find info about the Samsung Saturn, etc, but I can't find anything on the Samsung Dreamcast. Does it exist, or is it just BS on behalf of UCD? Anyone have a picture?
Yes it's true. I think Samsung even released the NeoGeo in South Korea. Pictures could be found on a korean auction site I'm sure.
I know Tectoy sold Saturns and DCs, but they were all made in japan, with the box & stuff being made in brazil. The Samsung-Saturn is well known, but a Dreamcast? never saw one.
I don't think Samsung made a Dreamcast. Concerning the korean Neo-Geo, it has been made by Vic-Tokai, picture :
I'd love to get my mitts on that Neo Geo - wonder how much they run for over there in the collector's market? Any information on how many were produced, and if the games came with a Korean language option?
