I'm kind of wishing I spend some more time looking around for classic game systems when I did my year in Korea. I did come out with a Korean Halo Edition X-Box, at least. I do remember seeing absolutely no Nintendo products in the stores. Apparently Nintendo has had a rough time in Japan with the fairly huge Korean bias against anything Japanese (even though the majority of the country seems to have no problem blatantly copying everything Japanese, but not admitting it). Yet, even with their anti-Japanese bias, Sony does extremely well there. Everything in the shops was either X-Box, PSP, PS2 or PC MMORPSs (2005/2006). Tons of bootlegged stuff. There is a Korean owned retro game shop not far from where I live in Japan, but there isn't any Korean software there. It's all Japanese. Strangely, it's all very overpriced. 3000yen ($30 or so) for Virtua Fighter 2 on the Saturn that comes in a sun-faded case? No thank you. 4500yen for Samurai Showdown 2 on the Neo? Forget it. I'm taking a guess that selling games is a front for their real business, whatever that is...
Whatever happened to that one Zombie Thread image with the zombie made out of thread ( lol!). I think it was retro who posted it. I think that should be the "official" zombie thread meme. EDIT: Finally found a thread with the image in question. It was Aypok who originally posted it.
If I recall correctly it looks the same as this but with samsung written on it instead of Sega and hangul letters.
