    Hey everyone,

Does anyone have a translation to the introduction of "Samurai Spirits IV: Amakusa's Kourin"? I noted that the narrator seems to go on talking in length, but I never bothered to find out what it actually meant. Online I didn't seem to find any English translations of this speech ether. Would anyone with Japanese knowledge be kind enough to chime in?

Changing the language doesn't effect this at all. It only effects the title screen and in-game dialog / options.

    The year 1789...
In an age when the people were oppressed by the Kansei Reforms...
Letting off a phospherent light, a monstrous spirit was reborn.
The earth shook, and a castle appeared, plunging the people of Shimabara into catastrophe.
As if in response to this, there appeared those who had turned their own bodies into shura, and who lived according to destiny.

*shura here means like "machines of war/combat"
