    Bump.

    I'm having trouble getting it to run. I tried the Glide Wrapper. Tried running it in Win 98/ME compatibility mode. Nothing.

    Okay now I've tried like 3 different glide wrappers, tried compatibility mode with every major version of Windows.
    Got the 3Dfx splash screen to come up, but no matter what each time it exits out.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Can someone PM me with the correct files? It would be most appreciated.

    I ran in to all of this a long while back, but never got around to trying it out. Now that I have, I'm running in to a peculiar issue, I thought I'd see if anyone else was experiencing it.

    Most of the time, when I launch the game it's running incredibly slow. Every now and then, I'll launch it and it'll run at (what I'm guessing is)it's intended speed. From what I've noticed, if you try to start the game(after it's been launched) with a 360 controller it's slow every time...if you try to start the game with an MS SideWinder Wheel, it's slow every time. If you start the game with the keyboard(the space bar), there's a chance it'll run correctly. If you get it running correctly, you can then switch to the 360 controller once the race starts. Oddly, this method does not work for the wheel, it runs slow no matter how you start the game when the wheel is connected(which is odd, because when the race starts, the wheel's forcefeedback is in sync with the car's engine).

    I have that GlideWrapper(0.84c) installed...and I haven't messed with any of the profiles. I've tried launching the game with GlideWrapper running and without it running. I've tried compatibility mode, there's no real method to what makes the game run correctly and what doesn't(past starting it with the keyboard rather than the 360 controller).

    Any thoughts? I wasn't real sure...is that GlideWrapper supposed to be up and running for it to be used on whatever game you're trying to use it with, or is it activated when the game is launched?

    I'm running a quad core with Windows XP(32-bit), 3.5GB of Ram and an Nvidia GeForce 9800GT.

    Any help would be most appreciated it...more than anything, I'd love to just play it with the SideWinder wheel.

    So I finaly put my hands on a Force Feedback Wheel for the PC. A Logitech G27.
    Booted the game to test how it will work.
    It does detect the wheel and tries to enable FFB but it acts strange.
    The wheel gets a constant rumble effect during races. Works ok on the menus.
    Tested it on Windows 10. Maybe running it on older version of windows will be better?
    I think the FFB api have changed recently.

    Digital Man, have you tested it with the SideWinder?
