Although I consider myself proficient in reading kana, I can't think of what these Saturn titles mean or how they should be read: 宿題がサンドア～ル (T-6802G) ２度あることはタントアール (GS-9042) It's the サンドア～ル and タントアール bits I'm stuck on. Anyone know the correct reading? Also, does these words have a meaning or are they just made-up names?
First rule of the puzzle and action games is to ignore the katakana, the second rule of the puzzle and action games is to ignore the katakana. The first one is Sando R and the second is Tanto R. You will see another Puzzle and Action game called Ichidant R, which is displayed in English on the game (and in Katakana on the flyer and er box of the MD game...).
Jamtex is correct there :thumbsup: Best to ignore katakana all together. It’s an awful way to pronounce foreign words. There are a load of English words in katakana that don’t even sound close to the original pronunciation. For example I though that the Australia Olympic swimmer, Ian Thorpe was called Ian Soap ! Because of Japanese katakana or how about the British actor, Judo Law ???? Any idea who that is mean to be? I didn’t when my wife was telling me about him. All I could say was “Who the hell is Judo Law?” Yakumo
The 2-do aru koto game is a play on words. What ever happens twice happens a 3rd time, or something like that. Google it and you will find there was a pretty famous virus but that name as well.
