Saturn Disc unsuitable

    yup its kinda like idea world vs real world. as a medium its served its purpose well. just like vhs lol.

    and then there's storage capacity and mechanical wear and tear, but thats normally down to bad or lazy or cheap design. *cough* sony *end cough*

    I had to replace my saturns laser because it died. I got a JVC optima 6 on eBay for like 20 bucks. Works great.. I think my PS1 will need a laser too.

    The fact that people insist upon optical media being so prone to failure is pretty obviously a result of improper handling. My very fist PS game (Jumping Flash) still looks new. Why, because I don't let my 12 year old cousin borrow it and I tend to avoid using it as a coaster or Frisbee.
