Does anyone know how to add a switch that controls the door being read as closed or opened? Also does anyone know how to add a access led light to a model 2 saturn? Since my version is a 32 pin chip/21 ribbion cable that does not have an area marked for putting a led in place, it is a version va 7 i think, and the board is a hyundai board i think (im talking pcb board not the cd drive).
There's a small switch on the board, sometimes in the early ones it's in the lid. All you need to do is connect a switch to the traces on the bottom of the board or the bottom of the switch in the lid. If you're lazy, cut the switch wires in the model 1. This is the board with the MPEG daughtercard and the power supply in the lid. The model 2 has the space, but I don't think it has power to the traces. Just tap into the power for LED 1 and it'll be fine. I did this once before.
