I already have 4 arcade sticks it would be a waste of space to buy ANOTHER for my saturn too. So I figure I'll just use my MAS sticks with my Saturn, the problem now is finding A playstation to Saturn converter. all the ones I've found are out of production. any one know of where I can find one? or even how I could build one myself
Have you tried contacting Tototek or GameDoctorHK? I got mine from Tototek, and I've seen the latter sell them in their eBay store.
I have one of Keio's convertors, works well. Looks like he's still selling the chip and has documentation: http://keio.dk/converters.html
ah I guess that's better than nothing I did say build one my self too... There was a Canadian guy who had a saturn-USB converter what was his site again? I looked through the forums agian and couldn't find the post.
Hm, how about just adding the saturn pad to the buttons of the stick and dont touch the ps part of it?
Can you take a pic on how its inside? if you have some soldering skills i can give some directions on what to do.
I want to use my PS compatable arcade sticks with my saturn so I don't have to buy MORE arcade sticks. I already have 4
Ah, you have plenty of space to fit a Saturn Pad board inside and wire everything. You need to solder some wires to the points in the Saturn controller like this: (Dont mind the marks I made, was trying to figure out the turbo switchs XP) One wire for each button, and one for the ground. Them you solder to the buttons on the arcade stick and daisychain the ground betwen them. . If its not very clear, I can make a more indeep vid tomorrow
There's an adapter on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sega-Saturn-Playstation-2-Controller-Converter-/330686785111?pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item4cfe77e657#ht_500wt_1282
