Hello to everyone!!!! I'm willing to buy a NTSC saturn...i live in Spain and well, i want to play games at 60hz full screen NTSC without modding my holy model 1 from 1995 that works perfectly! I want to buy a good japanese saturn, what is the best? the white one? or the grey one?? thanks a lot in advance.... and how much will cost me on ebay a new one? thanks!
If you're just looking to play games then it doesn't really matter which colour or version you get, although imho I prefer the white one on looks. eBay prices average around £50 for a second hand one, or you can look to purchase a new/very good one from an asian retailer for a buy it now price of around £90.
I really like the white Saturns too (and have one myself), but keep in mind the issues with yellowing due to sunlight or UV-light exposure. In my living room, where there tend to be a lot of sunlight, I would prefer something other then white. Personally I think the Victor V-Saturn RG-JX2 and the Sega HST-0021 Skeleton Saturn look pretty nice too...
Try Yakumo, he can probably get you one for 40e including shipping (he did for me a few years ago, cheers mate). Am I the only one who thinks the grey one actually looks better?
I also think the grey one looks better! mmm in some weeks when i will afford one i will talk to Yakumo
I'd go for anything other than White. The white is just asking to look dirty and yellow. Gray looks neat, but I'm fine with my Black US saturn.
