I have had this stuff in my garage for 10 years, bought it from a stange fellow I met on UUSENET in early -97 if I recall correctly.
The box went into storage and was forgotten untill I stumbled upon it yesterday.

There's two PsyQ manuals, one huge binder several CDs and floppies.

    The PsyQ manuals are:
    CD Emulator Manual for Saturn
    and
    System Manual for Sega Saturn

The huge binder contains loads of info, standard Staurn dev. manual, master disc release forms, communications between Sega and ALG, hand written notes, faxes, emails etc.

The CDs and floppies contains source code for Saturn, PC and Arcade versions of ALG games.
I belive the complete source code and a complete beta disc of CrimePatrol for Sega Saturn is included. Nops, sorry, I don't have a Saturn so I can't test the CD.

I have taken quite a few pictures.

Below is the contens of the CDs and some of the floppies + other interestin info.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Steve Franks C-drive Read without errors.
Couldn't find any source for the console versions but PC and Arcade source for Crime Partol 1 and 2 and other ALG projects.

CD1 contains 476 .CPK and one CP.SCN, all read 100% ok.

CD2, same as CD1 but no CP.SCN, didn't try to read it.

CP 9/23, Made an image, no errors.

CP 9/25 Read 100% ok. I don't know much about Saturn and what files are supposed to be there. Here is a list, *.cpk exkluded. If you look at the images (link above) there is a bump of the ip.bin

    Floppies
Yep, about 15 which where not SEGA standard dev. tools where found.
I copied the to my hard drive and here's what I found, except for a few bootsector viruses ;)

Source code for the Sega version of Mad Dog or Crime Patrol. They have borrowed routines from each other so I can't really tell. Im guessing Saturn and CP.

One more floppy with Source, similar to the one above

A zip, CP090496.ZIP, containing what a backup of the source for Crime Patrol Saturn. Contents similar to the two floppies above.

More and more CP backups, dating from 090496 to 091396.

Varius textfiles with info and emails from Sega DTS Support.

A floppy with Crime Patrol, Mad Dog2 and Space Pirates soruce code. I assume thoose are PC versions.

All floppies except one, marked Oracle, read perfectly.

Cool find! (especially cool find in your garage! :p)

I'm sure some Saturn people on here would love to take a look at the sources and stuff. Any plans on releasing or selling this stuff?

Nice. I'm interested if you wanna sell ;-) That would prove most useful for my research.

    Nice indeed. Quite a find!

  5. wow, it would be really good to see how Mad Dog and Crime Patrol would have looked on the saturn and whether it would use the VCD cart etc..

Yeah, there's tons of bad info on the Saturn out there (and other formats, of course). Some sites even still have their lists based on forthcoming release lists, and hence give a price for games like Return Fire!
