Saturn X-terminator

has anyone heard of X-Terminator for Saturn?
Someone sent me the below picture and it looks very interesting indeed.



Looks like APR but notice that separate controller linked by the cable.

I was told by a friend of mine..that if you ever come by one of those GET IT!...I think it has some different stuff that can go with it too..like a neogeo adapter or something. I have no idea what it is! lol!

I remember them, there was also one for the playstation. The screen plugs into the comms port (on the PSX anyway) and when a paremeter is changed, the code on screen changes (helping you create new cheats), nothing too special.

 

IIRC this is the other type of cartridge that Panzer Dragoon Saga checks for. (Second useless factoid of the day, I'm feeling generous.)

 

There are a few saturn ones on Yahoo Japan. I'm going to pick a loose one up for 1en

Eh !? The "second" type PDS checks for is the official FDD drive.

 

The cheat cart protection checks for both Action Replays and X-Terminator carts.

and theree's a code to defeat that checking.
that's how I plyaed PAL PDS Demo on JP Saturn.
