Hey recently did this mod for my N64 pad making it wireless. check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlnmfaILCHw but the downside is I cant use memory cards; so what I do is on games like turok, everytime I get to save point I have to pause game swap pad with a wired one then save. So The icing on the cake would be if the everdrive64 would support memory pack saves too..to the sd card? Any news? Besides who has not had a bit of trouble saving with the memory cards 15 years on..? even the official ones! The occassional wipe data and blowing into memory card port does work but is hassle.. and you loose your progress at times before getting em to work again. Oh and I can live without the rumble itself too as wireless is sooooo much better haha if only that guy worked it out to be 4 channel instead of 2
did you read ed64 faq? probably not, cuz faq give the answer on your question: controller pack emulation is not possible, cuz memory pack(or pack emulator) must be connected to joypad slot and not to cart slot
In the future being able to dump memory card saves to SD card and then retore back to memory card may be possible, but you will still need a memory card as the middle man.
I did read it.. I knew it is not possible now but just thought they may be a way around it in the future.. ? maybe with an internal mod on the n64 wirering it to the cartridge? Thats all I was thinking. Or maybe even .. and am only putting it out there with this sender thing in the rumble pack, there might be enough space to put a sd card (out of casing) and some how mod that into thinking its a memory card and solder it on in addition with the power to the controller? hmm I dont have the know how for it.. on that level.. heck people used to say making the n64 pad wireless was impossible and then someone did it!
