    Hi guys and girls,
As most of you already know none of the new TVs Down Under come with SCART inputs. This might be a very silly question but I have to ask anyway

I got a Sony KDL-32W700B which comes with Composite, Component and HDMI inputs, surprise surpise no SCART.
In the Europe Sony released a KDL-32W705B which does come with the SCART input

Here's a photo of the two boards which look very similar. I'm guessing changing the boards wouldn't work, it comes down to the different firmware of the two TVs the different mainboard.
So in theory If I was to buy the 705B mainboard and the attached SCART board, put it all together, have a smoke and pray, it might work?
    Many Thanks

if you get a euro board it should be a direct swap but honestly I'd look into a RGB-SCART to HDMI or component solution.
You'll be looking at $60+ for a salvage PCB, for that much you could get something that upscales to HDMI(I'll be reviewing such a device soon).
Etim.net.au sells a RGB to component PCB but make sure your TV supports low resolutions over component.
