Scart Plugs... I don't get it..

    It's actually a pretty neat system.

    If you have a TV and VCR connected by a correctly-wired SCART cable, you don't need to put the TV on a special "channel" to watch a videotape, and the VCR doesn't need a tuner built in to record from TV.

    It's a much simpler set-up than the RF loop-through system, and less confusing to operate.

    At the time though, it was a pretty good idea. Sadly the rest of the world has moved on and doesn't give a stuff about RGB.

    Thankfully I'm blessed being in the UK having access to RGB scart so easily. The difficulty is finding a scart cable that's fully wired. So many cheap composite ones around.
