I am experiencing scrolling what bars on multiple Mega Drive 2 consoles that I currently have. 3 of them.

I have tried different AV cables but that did not resolve the issue.

    What could be the problem?

    Please see below picture.

Are you trying to use a PAL system on an NTSC TV, or anything of that sort?
The problem seems too weird for RGB to fix but I've never heard of it before.

My TV can switch between PAL and NTSC automatically. I even tried to switch manually to PAL. Tested on another TV but had same issue :(

Tried a different TV? or different type of AV connection? (RGB/Composite/RF/Svideo)

Can you try a different power supply for the MD?

Thanks guys. I was using an NTSC power brick on a PAL console. It completely eliminated my previous issue!

However, I think I am experiencing jail bars now :/

Please see picture below. I am using a universal power supply. 9V 2A.

Could it still be a power supply issue?
