My SD2SNES has been working great for months, but out of the blue today I power on my SNES and all the LEDs on the SD2SNES start blinking and it just shows a black screen. I tried formatting a different SD card (with the panasonic tool) and I'm still having the same issue. I was just playing on it yesterday with no problems at all, so this seems really sudden for something to fail on the device, but it sounds pretty serious. Any advice or solutions out there for an issue like this? Thanks for any help!

Make sure it's seated right in the SNES. I've had issues with that.

I had this happen to me not too long ago, I ended up solving it by removing the SD card and power cycling (not too fast, mind you) until it showed only the error light for "no SD found" (i would say which one it is but i forget), and then re-inserting the SD after that... no problems since.

Mine doesn't always turn on and maybe the contacts aren't clean. I dunno why that would be though. Maybe some used cart I got made the contacts in my deck dirty. I hate that. People need to learn how to take care of electronics. I think I gotta find something to clean the contacts in the snes and the cart with now.

The PCB in the sd2snes appears to be thicker than what is in a regular snes cart so hopefully that doesn't wear out the snes connector sooner. I have a hard time finding a replacement and when I do it costs almost as much as a whole used complete deck.

Yes, like I said, for whatever the reason it doesn't fit as well in a NTSC SNES as it does a SFC.
