Do you have the same problem or what? When the screen is totally white on every game, my screen starts flicker and the top right corner "bends" a little. It happens every game what has totally white screen. I am wondering what causes this or is my cart broken? You can try this for example "zombie ate my neighbors" when the KONAMI logo goes to the screen. (then the screen is white, and starts flicker and it bends the right corner) This don't look nice...

Hope there is a solution of this

When the white screen goes off then the flickering stops and "bended" corner get straight. This not affect much to gameplay. But it is annoying when it happen (usually at start where is intro or when there is a movie in game)

This probably isn't related to the SD2SNES. You need to check with an original game cartridge and see if this behavior is present on your TV or not.

Gotta check that! Maybe have to check with component-cable. I am using RGB-cable now. And maybe different TV.. It would be nice to know do the others have same thing?

Just to be clear. I am sure there may be people on this forum that can help you so there is no problem asking questions about SD2SNES here, but KRIKzz does not really directly support the SD2SNES since he did not design the hardware. Ikari_01 has an account here, but rarely posts it seems. However maybe he checks more than he posts. It maybe easier to get support from him over at snesfreaks.com. Its mainly a German site, but the do have international forum.

Tested with composite and it does not flicker. Hey SAG, I think many people who bought this cart watches this site more than the german site. I wanted to hear do the others have this problem. I did not mean to be rude.

I have to test the other RGB-cable... If that flickers too, then I maybe test another console..

I wasn't saying or thinking you were rude. I don't think anyone has a problem with you using this forum for help. I was just stating that KRIKzz (himself) doesn't support it directly like he does with the EverDrives and if you needed to contact the creator or need more help that this forums can't offer the snesfreaks.com forum may be better for this product.

However a lot of smart people on this forum too like MottZilla always trying to help people.

I think the problem is on the RGB cable. I am going to get the original PAL Gamecube RGB cable maybe tomorrow or next week, I will check that. Hope that helps the problem. I got Super Famicom and 3rd party RGB cable.

    I will tell what happens!

Sounds right to try. A PAL SNES RGB cable won't work. Even then Nintendo's own is rare due to its French release.

Like we all know Nintendo of Europe actually changed RGB pinout for PAL SNES. Super Famicom was the original design, that USA also used.

yeah... I read some information that the Pal Gamecube RGB scart would work. Maybe it is the best cable what to use. Or maybe if I can get cheaply the original Super Famicom RGB cable and the adapter what changes the input to match PAL RGB signals. But I think original Super Famicom cable would cost as much as the console itself ;)

I use a pal GameCube rgb scart cable with 220 pf caps and haven't had any problems with the sd2snes on my mini. I am going through and xrgb2+ and I am not sure that would make a difference. I will test the sd2snes out on my big boy snes and see if that brings up anything.

The PAL GameCube SCART RGB cable works great with NTSC SNES and Super Famicom systems. However it is not intended for use on a PAL SNES system. Hopefully you can work out a configuration that will work for you.

Tested with another RGB cable. I just noticed that the one I said to be 3rd party was actually original PAL Gamecube cable. There was the same flickering problem..

But I tested then with another tv. LCD actually, and I was shocked, there was no flickering at all. But now I am pissed off, because I just love the CRT tv. Because it is Sony Wega 100Megahertz TV. It has very sharp picture and I just love the feeling with it.

LCD looks very bad, it don't have the feeling, maybe with XRPG but I still think that CRT looks always better to my eye.

Maybe I just have to live with this little problem. It is not so often totally white screen...

Every console I ever had hooked up to a CRT had that problem. Most Dreamcast games would start off with a totally white screen for the Sega logo, and the screen would buzz and have a flickering and banding in the top right corner. It was a Sony CRT, too. Definitely not an issue with your SD2SNES.
