Seagate 4TB ST4000DM000 Hard Drives are ok ?

    greetings members , i am looking to get new Hard Drives early next year to replace my turd Seagate 3TB's die. If i'm reading the below chart correctly the Seagate 4TB ST4000DM000's are ok , can anyone confirm ?

    After having four Seagate drives fail these past few years I steer clear of them no matter their backblaze report. Been using WD and HGST (mostly HGST) with no problems.

    I dont work in IT anymore, but in a different field (so I see a lot less machines than I used to). However, we supply PC's with the industrial machines we sell....

    We have had like 3 Seagate drives fail this year - which is high for the number we send out. They were all < 1 year too

    thanks guys for your replies , i'm looking at Western Digital now. Not sure between Blue or Black , i need to watch some Youtube videos on comparisons.

    Black is for performance. Since the cost is (at least, here) quite a bit higher than WD blue, I would say that you should go for blue unless you want to have the performance. Both are 7200RPM disks.
