Hey, I am interested in purchasing this sealed (damaged box) copy of Link's Awakening DX. I just want to make sure the seal looks legit and not like a re-seal. Can you guys help me verify? Thanks!

I'm not a specialist at all, but for the few games i have that are real brand new sealed, the seal is usually closed on the side of the box, not in the middle of it.

Pretty sure the seam was always on the side.

    Definitely NOT an original seal.

I remember preordering the 2 zelda oracle games and being surprised that the seal was different than usual. It had the seam down the back like that.

First reason is that I had enough Nintendo original brand new games in my hands to know how the official Nintendo seal is and especially when there was an official Nintendo seal. ;-) For a long time, games weren't sealed at all, just kept into specific cases or furniture. Some shops added a seal according to their local politics, but it wasn't Nintendo doing.

Second reason is that I had enough second hand rebranded as brand new (in shops...) stuff in my hands to know when a seal is not an original Nintendo seal. This is not a legit seal, this is a generic one. No value at all.
