hi , i think i got my first sealed nes game : startropic for less than 1 canadian bucks. but i'm not sure of that, and the seller didn't know. someone can explain me how to verify if its a true sealed one? (i think there was a trick with a stripe somwhere...) and can i have a pic? i know that there's a nintendo sticker on it but i cant see if it was broken....
It should have Nintendo printed all along the tear strip, if it doesnt have one, or if its plain its probably a reseal. This is based on UK games though, so it *may* be different for Canadian games.
I don't think all U/C NES games have Nintendo on the pull tab. I think any pull tab is a good enough indication that its truely sealed. Don't get all excited about having a sealed Star Tropics though, you got a deal but sealed Star Tropics and Star Tropics 2 are among the most common to find sealed.
yeah , but if they are really sealed , i can own a tengen gautlet sealed , a life force sealed and a guardain legend sealed... for less than on canadain bucks,each.....that's why i whant to know !
yes, indeed , but just to be sure that i won't open them , i'll take hem all but, iif they aren't really sealed , ill play with them. and yes , its 1 canadian bucks! so someone have a pic or something ? not from uk games plz.
i finaly opened it (!) its wasn't is original plastic , it wasn't having a horizontal stripe. but the nintendo sticker was here. i opened it , to discover the cart , without a plastic case. i smeled it , it smelled plastic , new plastic . damn! but , i continued . i found the guide book . no scratches. and the little styrofarm (don't know if i wrote it right..) i try the game pak , it worked the first time. but , games names where already saved! theses names where : lisa chapiter 1 amy chapter 8 and louise . (don't forget the dot! ) chapter 3 so , was it a sealed game? if not , the game is REALLY well conserved. and that's really cool! iif yes, damn! but , that's ok... i will have hours of fun , i never played this game ! and he is really cool!
The fact that there are saved games on it indicates it was a reseal, albeit a very good one. NES games did not shit with data on the save slots. However, it is no longer sealed :smt043 but from your description, is super-minty, so I wouldn't feel too bad. Besides, you only paid a looney for it. :smt023
Yeah all sealed NES games regardless of region usually had a Nintendo label all round the tear strip. All the later ones did anyway,as I had to import US games to play on my US nes in the uk.Having grew up there in the nintendo mad eighties,I brung my Nes back over here only to find they had just released the ROB pack in the uk and only had the original set of games out such as Clu clu land, gyromite and so on.What a shit region Pal was back then, nothing much changes. Don't think anyone is gonna buy you a 64DD GSL,but you can always try :butthead: :smt040
I'm thinking maybe if I ask long enough, someone will do so just to get me to change my damn signature. :smt023 :smt043
its wasn't buy me a: neo-geo ,before? if yes , did someone actually bought you one? if yes,.... then i change my signature! :smt043
If you have $650 plus shipping from Japan, this should be perfect :smt033 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62054&item=8104214217&rd=1&ssPageName=WD1V
It is an N64 controller that has a GC style analog stick. From the looks of it, I would say it is an offical Nintendo product, it just does not look cheap enough to be 3rd party shit.
nintendo or not , its really strange... i would never use it for 2d games that use the direction pad. the joystick seem far better than the original , its a plus. but im wondering where they put the ''Z'' button? :smt017
That controller is a HoriPad Mini, I'm hoping Anti will be able to find one for me when he's off in the Land Of The Rising Sun. It appears to have the same stick design as the Gamecube, which is a great plus for me, as those stupid plastic sticks on the N64 controllers get all slippery. :smt019 I haven't seen one on eBay yet, but they seem to show up frequently on Yahoo Japan for 500 - 1500 yen. And the Z button - or should I say, buttonS are located behind the R and L buttons, sortof like the shoulder setup on a Playstation controller. And sadly, nobody bought me a Neo Geo, but due to Paulo's urging, I changed it to a 64DD, as the games for a 64DD aren't $200 a pop. :Hangman: And yeah, I've seen that stupidly overpriced auction/store sitting there for over a month now - any guesses as to why it hasn't sold? Price, maybe? :snipe: I'd pay at most $400 for that lot, and it seems that most other eBay collectors agree in some fashion or other. I will get one eventually, I'm just biding my time - I missed out on one that sold for about $93 close to a month back, but I hadn't started my job yet, and was low on okane. :smt022
