    Sealed/boxed spindle of 50 Dreamcast GD-R's

l have a sealed spindle of 50 dreamcast GD-R's (you need a Katana Dev unit and a GD Burner to use these, both of which I do not have). Box is also included.

Price is $250 Payable via Paypal. Free shipping in the USA, but other places, we can work out the details.

Well, he posted a pic once before on one of his MANY posts advertising the same for sale. Obviously desperate now as the price has been dropped, despite $300 being non-negotiable back then.

In fact, the e-mail address looks familiar... is this the same seller who suddenly appeared on the phpBB forum after Adam-James split his? I remember a seller with a gmail address, 1st post, no picture, no location information, paypal only....

Arb226, what I am about to say is some friendly advice for you, please don't see it as criticism. You haven't exactly been an active member of the community here. We know nothing about you. As far as I know, no board member has traded with you, so can't give references. You're using a free e-mail address, not easy to trace. You're only giving one payment option. You can probably see why people don't want to buy from you.

Maybe some of the following might help:

    • You want to use this community to sell your goods - take the time to be a member of it. Give us something back - even just participating in discussions.
    • (Slightly related to the above...) Respond to posts on your threads! You chose to post an item for sale here, take the time to see if there are responses!
    • Tell us something about yourself... where are you from for a start? If a potential buyer is near you, can they come and pick it up in person and pay cash?
    • Be more flexible on your payment plan. PayPal is very bad for insurance. How about a bank transfer (wire)?
    • What method of shipping are you going to use? Does it use tracking/signature on receipt?
    • As Kev said, board rules are pics on here. So how about a fresh pic, one that hasn't been seen before, to prove you still have the item? (Not doubting you personally, just saying some might require more proof than a 2 month old photo)
    • Give us a REAL e-mail address, not a free Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo etc. type! Your ISP must have given you an e-mail address, or your college.
    • Provide references. Link us to another board you have traded on, give us your user name... or your eBay name would do!

Like I said, these are just friendly pointers. If you want to sell these to us, then you'll want to make us happy in the first place, confident you are a trustworthy seller... THEN you will get interest.
