Yeah, French games were often in a blister pack. I've seen them for Saturn, Mega Drive, Game Gear and SNES. They almost always are shrink-wrapped inside the blisters, too. Shrink-wrapped PAL games seem to turn up frequently in France, even without the blister pack.

Yakumo, you didn't keep any issues of CTW, did you? I'm looking for the ones from the Saturn era!

That's the one! Yeah, my boss threw all his out, too... and anything else promo-related, price lists, release lists etc. :-(

Oh well, I'll pay a visit to the British Library sometime :icon_bigg

Most of the snes sealed games that are for sale on tradera.com come from italy ^^
    Including the f-zeros:

ah, yeah that might be true.. have to check with my friends box.

edit: is there any good place on the box to check this? but still.. they are SNES, PAL and sealed.. and that's what's important.. but going to check anyway. ^^

F-zero wasn't localised as far as I know, so all copies available in europe are multi-euro ones.
But you can seek the seller who had tons of them on tradera, he is also selling a lot of late snes releases which are actually italian versions distributed by GiG (a very big italian toys distributor, who sold most of the nintendo games and other various stuff such as transformers)

I'm still of the opinion that collecting sealed carts is lunacy.

Who wants to collect games they can't play? :p

(btw: only joking - each to his/her/it's own)
