Prompted by claims the site does not search well, I reindexed all the posts. The site has over 660,000 posts and the operation took almost 8 hours! The depth of content on the site is something we can be proud. -ASSEMbler
The chatbox seems to be visible to everybody now, not just people with 50+ posts. Is that intentional?

Glad to see it's back up, but the search function still doesn't seem to be working for me? Whether I'm in a sub forum and trying to "search this forum", or doing an advanced search... it doesn't bring back any results.
Make sure your search terms are more than three characters. For example, "nes" returns no results but "snes" returns valid posts/threads
Try removing your cookies. I have no idea why this would not work unless you are blocking scripts or something like adblock... It's not visible to unregistered. It was never limited by posts. Please not the minimum search is 4 characters due to the limitations of MySQL. To enable shorter searches would need changing things and it would be very hard on the server.
That would be why my searches weren't working, I was looking for N64... d'oh. Although N64* seems to do the trick so it's all good.
