Searching a text editor for a simple task

Hello, im trying to fin a free text editor that let me use sheets horizontaly rather than vertically. Any recommendations? Could OpenOffice do the job?

If you mean landscape instead of portrait, just about any half decent word processor should let you change that.

 

WordPad...

 

Textpad... That little program got me through college...

 

Even Microsoft Word can do that.

Yeah, i already have openoffice, but i wonder how you can switch your "sheet" horizontally. Could you tell me where i must go to do so?

 

Print options... select horizontal

EDIT: Might be page options, i don't have OO installed on this pc.

 

File->Printer settings...
then click on on the button named "Properties..."
then under the "Setup" tab select under "Orientation" Landscape
