For a few years now, I've been trying to find ローリーポーリーズの七転び八起き and バナバナ1号 ローリーポーリーズの世界大冒険, which are PC games produced by Osamu Sato. I've checked Rakuten, Surugaya, Yahoo Auctions, and Amazon JP, but none of them have copies in stock. The same is true for a number non-game items produced by the company, which I have listed here: pastebin.com/MgpSVZy5
If anyone here is interested in helping, please let me know. You can also message me on Twitter @obscurityHUNTER in case anything comes up. Thanks!

I'm sure people wouldn't mind helping you out, but it would sound a whole lot better if you didn't state it like a demand. No one has to call Book-Offs for you, nor request that they move items to a particular store.

I'm not saying you deliberately intended this, but that's how it sounds when you read it. If you went "I've been looking for <something> for a while, I did all my due-diligence (<list>) but still can't find it. If anyone has any ideas or could help me track these down, kindly let me know. I sincerely would appreciate it!", it would have sounded way better. IMHO anyway.

The first game's subtitle is "The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog," which would have also been the name it went under if it saw release outside Japan.

If you can't find the game on the big auction sites, the chances of it being in Hard Off is likely nil. Anything rare probably immediately gets put on Yafuoku, or if not gets a huge price tag. I recently saw Back to the Future 2 for the SFC, cart only, priced at 8000 yen, for example.

That's too bad. Old PC games in general appear to be hard to find in Japan. I can still remember when Chu-Teng and Garage were being hunted down, and for months, even years, it seemed like finding them was only a dream. Perhaps I am in a similar situation right now with these games.

The best way is to contact someone living there to keep an eye out for you, along with how much you are willing to pay for the item(s). Also, check every day on Yahoo Auctions.

There's a listing on the National Diet Library site for one of the items in the Pastebin I linked. Is it possible that some libraries in Japan might have copies? It wouldn't really benefit me since I'm in another country, but I'm still curious.
