As mentioned in my welcome thread, I'm the creator and (for most part) sole curator of kultcds.com.
The heart of the website is the always growing CD catalog located at
    http://www.kultcds.com/Catalog/
It's currently the most comprehensive fully searchable database of magazine cover disks (and a few extras) available. Whenever I wanna investigate an older game, I simply go there and search with the catalog engine.
The site offers easy search for duplicates of cataloged and local files and it's intuitively browsable like the good old "index of" pages or FTP servers.
The size fields support , and . and can convert k,m,g into corresponding numbers of zeros. Text fields support _ and % as wildcards.

So if you for example want to see what mags had to offer in large files about Wiggles/Diggles you just do this search:
    http://www.kultcds.com/Catalog/inde...25iggles&ext=&min=20m&max=&descr=&dir=&o=&dn=
    and you're done.
Many CDs have download mirrors listed at the top, sadly not all, though.

Ordering by canonical date (that is typically the numbers written on the cover of a magazine) or size will group files visibly:
    http://www.kultcds.com/Catalog/inde...s2&ext=exe&o=sa&min=&max=&dir=root&dn=&descr=

I hope this helps some of you in your gaming research!
