I don't know if this is already posted but I couldn't find any information on the net and MMMonkey site only details the Megadrive1 32x Switchless.
So using his original tutorial here is the first few steps needed to switchless a Sega Megadrive2/Genisis2

    http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/sega/32x-switchless.htm

As mentioned we need to isolate the Mono Sound in both the Megadrive and the 32x. on a version2 it is not pin1 but instead the same as 32x, pin6

After you have done that again you cant follow the Megadrive1 method. You will need to add a wire from the pin6 point coming over the top of the console to pin12 of the switchless IC (PIC16F630) [because the trace on the megadrive is so thin, it will be almost impossible to set the wire along side the trace so the next best option is direct onto pin12 of the IC].

And that is really it Your Megadrive2 is prepared and can be closed up. From here just follow the 32X part of the tutorial on MMMonkey website

I hope this will help anyone wanted to mod a 32X for a Megadrive2 Switchless.
