should be standard pico hardware inside

 

They sold these in Toys R Us. Looking at them running they seem just the same as the Pico. In fact that's what I thoughth they where at first.

When it was released, i saw some shots... Some backgrounds were a bit too colorful to be MD :'( ... It can be based on MD ... but there is certainly a 256 color bitmap mode added somewhere

Also, the sprites limitations on MD are pretty ridiculous compared to what a kid console would require now (huge sprites)

 

Ah just the man I was hoping would shed light on the machine. Possibly 32x chipset then?

 

Haha, I imagine that anything else than the 32x is expected to be found... I don't see the point to hardware emulate a so un-efficient combo with the tech we have today... Even a 1st price chipset would do a better job than the 32x, sad to say, haha ^^
