SEGA CD 2 - cd doesn't spin

Hi,

I have this sega cd 2, it boots up, I hear the lens motor is alive but cd doesn't spin at all...someone has suggestions?

Laser pot adjustment from what I remember might help....
As well as cleaning the laser.
If motor doesn't spin at all then check the power adapter is 9v 1.3amps(or higher amperage) no higher or lower then 9v, no lower then 1.3Amp.
