I have 2 scd model 1s that wont hit the door closed switch. the big gear on top just wont align properly. it seems to be 1 tooth off so that it doesnt push the switch all the way down and every time i adjust it it just automatically goes back the wrong position. It binds then clicks right back to the spot where i adjusted it away from. who knows how to properly align these drives? I have already fixed all of the other problems with the drives. I replaced the belt, lubed the gears, fixed the cracked helix gear in both of them and replaced the leaf switches with identical brand new ones. i also looked them over to make sure no plastic parts on the metal frame are broken - they arent.
