    Hey Everyone,

I have a short in a 2405 voltage regulator on a Sega CD model 1. Is it possible to replace with a standard 7805? The specs seem to match but I want to be sure, thank you

Yeah, it is pretty much the same, the only difference is the amp tolerance on the 7805 is 0.5 amps higher and it's voltage dropout is 1v higher. I don't think it will be an issue though
